The code just wasn't working. So I have removed it, and didn't restore it after the purchase. Friends were waiting and later I forgot. This one is on me completely.

If you had a name linked to your account, providing them with an ID card or another identification method might work. I know this already. After you verify it, then you can set up two-way authentication.
